Lovely weekend so far with wall to wall sunshine :) Rob and Hannah are up for the weekend so we have a relaxing start with Maggie making a pile of pancakes, a quick trip up the town and then it was out on the bikes. It was slowly along the busy prom with only one miserable old git moaning about bikes on the prom! Turning off at The Dip the sea was like a mirror with loads of people on the beach, we met up with Ben one of Robs kitesurfing Uni mates for a chat before continuing to the jetty at Felixstowe Ferry. It was then along the Deben river path past the 'hippo' to Kings Fleet where we headed inland to Falkenhan church where we stopped for snacks spotting yet another Marsh Harrier:) It was then over country lanes and tracks past beautiful yellow 'rape' fields and hedges rows full of blossom. We finished through the woods at The Grove which was still full of bluebells and wild garlic and home for delicious homemade cookies :)

Fingers crossed for some breeze tomorrow so we can get out on the water!
